PHOENIX (AP) ? Jodi Arias is being subjected to withering questioning from a prosecutor about what he contends are holes in her story about the killing of her former lover.
Prosecutor Juan Martinez began an aggressively line of questioning from the start as he hammered Arias on what he calls her selective memory. He asked how she can recall the type of Starbucks drink she had five years ago but can't remember important details crucial to the case.
Arias has testified for more than eight days, and the prosecution began its cross-examination Thursday.
Arias faces the death penalty if convicted of murder in the death of Travis Alexander. She says the killing was self-defense.
